So, I hear that some people love the look of Safari, but also love the extensive add-ons of Firefox, and they torn between the two. Well, TakeBackTheWeb.org has a solution for you. grApple is a Firefox theme that almost perfectly emulates Safari’s design. Also, there is both an aqua version and a graphite version. Ultimately, this theme will make Firefox unified with OS X Leopard. Oh, and check back here regularly, because we’ll be keeping you up to date with the new version currently being worked on. :)

Pixels Updates

I have tow updates about Pixels for you guys. One, is just a very tiny little update for the Pixels mod I made for CoverSutra, and of course, it’ll still work with every case. Upon several request for a version with no album name, I have finally done it. Also, Please note, you MUST has my Pixels mod applied first. The second update is that is is now compatible with Bowtie, which could be found here, thanks to Caliban. The Bowtie version has player controls and star ratings.

These are great little pixel cases for CoverSutra, they will only work with the Pixels mod applied. Yes, Pixels will work with any case, but these were made so they would look very sharp and crisp in the smaller form. I hope you guys like it.

Love CoverSutra, but hate how big the album art displays on your desktop? Then we have the solution for you. Pixels takes the sexiness of your album art and scales it down to 48×48 pixels. It also places the text on the right instead of on the bottom, which looks really good. Best of all, it works with any case, so if you downloaded a custom one, it’ll still work, just in mini form. Milk is minimalism at its finest. This theme is so incredibly simple, and yet it looks so great. Not much is added on from the default leopard theme, in fact it’s the exact opposite, the buttons backgrounds have been taken away, which oddly, looks really good. Unfortunately, the scrollbars aren’t changed, but we found some matching scrollbars. Anyway, this theme is amazing and I will be using it for quite a while.

At of all the space wallpapers I’ve seen, I think Astrum Caelum by Magnus is my favourite. It has a lot going on with so much detail, yet at the same time it’s so empty and unobtrusive. It makes the perfect wallpaper and is defiantly worth downloading. It’s super HiRes at 2560×1600 pixels so it’ll even look good on those giant Apple Cinema Displays.

Yum, tasty Aluminum. These are by far the most delicious replacement icons for OS X Leopard. They have that nice anodized aluminum feel that Apple has been incorporating into their product lately (like the MacBook Air). They truely are beautiful and at 512×512 pixels, you can see every tasty detail of these icons. The download is in iContainer format so you we need third party software to apply these icons.
